The Opportunity

As Office Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functioning of the office here in Berlin. You will support the team with a range of tasks and activities. Moreover, you will have the chance to contribute to a dynamic, growing company in a highly innovative industry with an excellent working atmosphere and great team spirit.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting management and the team in day-to-day operations
  • Diary and travel management
  • Operating the switchboard and forwarding incoming calls
  • Welcoming guests, clients and interviewees to the office
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Movement of equipment around the office
  • Office space optimisation
  • Setting up workstations
  • Ordering IT and office supplies
  • Providing administrative support to senior management
  • Organising and ordering merchandise for company events
  • Liaising with suppliers e.g. cleaners, I.T etc
  • Providing first-line support for any IT issues within the office
  • Addressing employee queries regarding office management issues

Job requirements

Profiles We Are Looking For

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in an administrative or office coordinator role
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and identify key priorities independently
  • Comfortable working with limited supervision
  • Team player with a patient and flexible attitude
  • Warm and effective hospitality and the ability to deliver it
  • A willingness to go above and beyond
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
