Responsibilities:

People – 50%

  • Responsible for daily operations of HR for local office.
  • Support employee engagement with targeted stay interviews, monthly check-ins, etc. Contributing and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Administer employee compensation & benefits (e.g., payroll, health insurance, perks, etc.) Pitch and manage medical insurance agency to ensure supplementary health. insurance & medical check-up plans in line with the local market.
  • Liaison with local stakeholders in daily office administration support.
  • Creating an engaging workspace that people enjoy coming to work to, organizing team events and socials, managing office supplies and maintaining company merchandise.
  • Support with internal communication, newsletters and townhalls
  • Contributing to strategic global People projects
  • Close cross-regional & cross-functional collaboration to drive the business and ensure smooth processes and employee satisfaction for the local office.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team and external labor attorney to ensure Rules of Employment are up to date and comply with laws & regulations.

Talent Acquisition – 50%

  • Manage full life- cycle recruitment, including sourcing, candidate selection, 1st stage interview and manage the schedule 3 stage interview with stakeholders, offer negotiation, and onboarding process.
  • Assist to implement marketing and branding strategies for target groups across a variety of social media and outreach platforms
  • Assist to scope, plan and coordinate campus recruiting events (i.e. campus presentations, workshops, networking sessions, competitions, virtual recruiting drives, offer celebration events etc.)
  • Assist to build engagement with target student organizations and career centers
  • Identify opportunities to increase diversity, inclusion, and engagement with underrepresented candidate profiles (i.e. female candidates, local market representative racial and ethnic heritage profiles, digital/technical skill sets, multi-lingual capabilities, etc.)


Job requirements

Profiles We Are Seeking:

Atheneum strongly believes in the power of diversity. We are seeking target driven team players with excellent emotional intelligence, problem solving and time management skills.

  • Good fluency in both English and Korean, Mandarin is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years working experience in HR or Recruitment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, university staff, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of campus recruitment best practices and familiarity with university recruiting processes is a plus.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in talent acquisition or human resources.
